Privacy policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This policy explains how Muwzo Ltd ("Muwzo", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit www.muwzo.com or get in touch with us.

Who we are

Muwzo Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 11793116. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at ritch@muwzo.com.

What this website collects

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it has no forms or user accounts.

Like every website, it is delivered by a hosting provider. Our host, Netlify, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for a limited period, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.

When you contact us

  • Email. If you email us, we receive your name, email address, any organisation details and the content of your message. Our email is provided by Microsoft 365.
  • Booking a call. Our "Book an intro" and "Schedule an introduction" buttons open Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. Calendly collects the details you enter, such as your name and email address, under its own privacy notice, and shares the booking with us.
  • Other websites. This site links to other websites, including LinkedIn and UKAI. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.

How we use personal data, and our legal basis

  • To respond to enquiries and arrange meetings, because it is in our legitimate interests to answer people who contact us, or because it is a step towards a contract with you or your organisation.
  • To provide our services and manage client relationships, because it is necessary for a contract or in our legitimate interests.
  • To operate and secure this website, because it is in our legitimate interests to run a safe and reliable site.
  • To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the business, including Netlify (website hosting), Microsoft (email and documents) and Calendly (scheduling), with our professional advisers, and with authorities where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of these providers are based in, or use systems in, countries outside the UK, including the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client correspondence for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, and for our business and legal records. We then delete it or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it to be transferred to another organisation. To use any of these rights, email ritch@muwzo.com.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
